Luxor Day Trip from Hurghada
Luxor holds some of the best known sites in Egypt, and you can see the main ones in a single day from Hurghada. We collect you from your hotel early in the morning, drive to Luxor in an air-conditioned vehicle, and spend the day with an Egyptologist guide before the return drive in the evening.
The day is long, about 14 to 16 hours door to door, because the drive is about 280 km and takes roughly 3.5 to 4 hours each way. Most guests sleep or relax on the road and keep their energy for the temples.

Typical program
- About 5:00 AM: hotel pickup in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, El Gouna, Makadi, Soma Bay or Safaga.
- About 8:30 AM: arrive in Luxor and meet your Egyptologist guide.
- About 10:00 AM: Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex in Luxor.
- About 12:00 PM: lunch.
- About 1:30 PM: cross the Nile and stop at the Colossi of Memnon.
- About 2:00 PM: Valley of the Kings, with entry to three tombs.
- About 4:00 PM: Hatshepsut Temple.
- About 5:30 PM: start the drive back to Hurghada.
